Willow Lane , Norwich

Infilling a redundant corner of a very restricted site, this project added a crucial extra bedroom to a period property in central Norwich. This relatively small intervention had a large impact allowing the family to stay put rather than having to move. Although unmistakably contemporary, this extension is sympathetic to the position of the house, which is surrounded by historic buildings.

The project won the Norwich Society’s 2017 design award for the Best Single Residential Property.
