Baron's Court, Fakenham

A terrace of houses designed for a dis-used plot of land in Fakenham, Norfolk.

The roof was envisaged as a continuous ribbon of zinc to give coherence to the whole development and to address the change in level and adjacent context, in reference to the pitched roofs of the local area. The design used subtle shifts in alignment and variations of materials to create interest and to reduce the visual scale of the whole building.
